A Letter from the Panhellenic President

Welcome to the Panhellenic website at Texas Christian University! My name is Hannah Taylor and I have the honor of serving as the 2017 Panhellenic President.

It is quite literally a dream come true to be the head of the governing body over our 13 amazing chapters. There is nothing more consistent or impactful on our campus than the Panhellenic community. Our women demonstrate all that it means to be a successful collegian- they are intelligent, kind, generous and fun. Our women excel academically, find lifelong sisterhood and enhance their undergraduate experiences.

Being part of a Panhellenic organization is a unique experience that allows you to grow into a better woman, while creating meaningful relationships.

The Panhellenic women of TCU make up over half of undergraduate women on campus, and nearly one-third of the total population, with an average GPA that sits above the all campus average GPA. We are one of only a select few campuses to receive the College Panhellenic Excellence Award in 2014, 2015, and 2016. TCU Panhellenic has also won awards for their scholarship and attention the Month of the Scholar. The National Panhellenic Council’s own philanthropy, the Circle of Sisterhood Foundation, supports education for women worldwide. I was lucky enough to be a representative on the 2016 Trek to Nicaragua, where 14 of our women built a school fully funded by our community. These are just a few of the accomplishments of our very high achieving community.

The TCU Panhellenic Council is one-fifth of the Fraternity and Sorority Life community. Students on this campus have the opportunity to join the Interfraternity Council (IFCO), the National Pan-Hellenic Council, the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) and the Independent Greek Council (IGC). Information about each of these councils can be found in the “Other Councils” page of this website.

I hope that after visiting our website you will have a greater understanding of the impact and endless opportunities that are created by the Panhellenic Council. Above all else, it is our goal that our members gain an enriching community and memories that last a lifetime.

Go Greek and Go Frogs!

Hannah Taylor

Panhellenic President
